“The kite, aerodynamically designed to soar high on the free energy of the wind, is a perfect metaphor for the sustainable movement in architecture”.
This statement formed the core concept of the installation design which linked together three related
exhibitions on sustainability. Informing and influencing our process was the use of exhibition materials wholly or at least partially recyclable and sustainable.
In collaboration with designer Omanie Elias this commission afforded the opportunity to explore digital media in combination with age-old lighter-than-air technology.
